Learn, how to make keto roti – low-carb Indian chapati. We all miss chapati during our low-carb keto journey – hence I would like to share this low-carb roti/chapati recipe. Made with only 3 basic ingredients- Flaxmeal, Almond flour, and Salt. Almond flour is one of the low-carb keto friendly flour.

We usually have very less Indian Vegetarian options for low-carb diets. This is easy to make and also a quick and easy recipe to make at home when you are in Ketogenic Diet (Keto Diet) or low-carb diet.

LOW CARBOHYDRATE INDIAN KETOGENIC RECIPE

A treat for KETO and Flax seeds lovers.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬Ingredients▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

1) Flax Seeds (अलसी) – 1/2 cup – 50 grams
2) Almond flour (बादाम का आटा) – 1/2 cup – 50 grams
3) Salt (नमक स्वादानुसार) – 1/2 tablespoon

1) Heat up the pan, add Flax seeds and saute it for a minute or two and you will see flax seeds popping up. Keep aside for cold.
2) Finely grind it with the help of mixer & grinder.
3) Take a big bowl and add freshly prepared flax meal, almond flour, and salt. Mix well with the help of a spoon.
4) Gradually add lukewarm water and mix everything well with a spoon.
5) Please continue to knead the dough by washed hand until it is mixed to a consistent texture. Leave to rest for around 10 minutes.
6) Divide into 3 or 4 small pieces and form into balls. Flatten these balls with your hands to form tikki shape.
7) Place a Parchment paper on a flat surface(kitchen platform/counter). Flatten it over the parchment paper by gently pressing it with your hands. Then place one more Parchment on top.
8) Roll with a roller. Make a circular shape with the help of lid (as shown in the video)
9) Lift them Gently and place it on a hot tawa by slowly removing the paper.
10) Toast the roti on the medium hot skillet for 2 minutes on each side.
11) Serve it with Yogurt and Keto Baingan Bharta.
