Traditional Scotch eggs are a favorite breakfast or picnic food. These keto, paleo, gluten free Scotch eggs start with a boiled egg done just the way you like, either soft and runny yokes, medium or hard boiled, then surrounded with a delicious seasoned pork sausage. I use a mild Italian sausage but you can use a farmer’s sausage or even spice things up with a chorizo sausage. This video shows both the oven baked Scotch egg method or the standard frying method.
